Where to Stay

Bainbridge or Kingston

We recommend staying near the wedding venue near Kingston or Bainbridge if any of these are important during your stay:
 

  • You don't want to worry about getting home after the party

  • You want to relax or go on outdoor adventures while you're in town

  • You aren't staying for very long before or after the wedding

Seattle

We recommend staying in Seattle if any of these are important during your stay:
 

  • You want to explore the city while you're in town

  • You want to try lots of restaurants and/or go shopping

Getting To Kingston House

The Kingston House wedding venue is tucked away in a forest area within Kitsap County, which is a little ways outside Seattle.

By Car

If you'll be renting a car and enjoy scenic drives, the trip from Seattle to Kingston House takes only ~15 mins longer than taking the ferry.

This is a great option to keep your schedule flexible and minimize logistics.

Google Maps is your friend. The route will take you through Tacoma.

By Ferry

There are several ferry options that will take you from Seattle to near the venue. 

The ferries are a wonderful, relaxing option but require some planning and early arrival because they're first-come-first-serve.

Route: Edmonds to Kingston

  • ~30 min drive from Seattle to Edmonds

  • ~30 min ferry ride

  • ~5 min drive from Kingston port to venue

Route: Seattle to Bainbridge

  • ~35 min ferry ride

  • ~30 min drive from Bainbridge port to venue

Route: Seattle to Kingston

  • ~40 min ferry ride

  • ~5 min drive from Kingston port to venue
